How Much Does a Website Cost in Qatar? Complete 2026 Pricing Guide

A transparent breakdown of website design and development costs in Qatar — from simple landing pages to full e-commerce stores.

One of the most common questions we get from Qatar business owners is: 'How much does a website cost?' The honest answer is that it depends — but that's not useful, so here is a transparent, real-world breakdown of what you should expect to pay in Qatar in 2026, and more importantly, what you get for your money at each level.

Level 1 — Basic Landing Page (QAR 3,000–6,000)

A single-page website presenting your business: who you are, what you do, contact information, and a WhatsApp button. Suitable for freelancers, new businesses, or businesses that primarily get customers through referrals and just need a digital presence. Should load fast, look professional on mobile, and include basic SEO setup. Do not accept anything under QAR 3,000 that claims to be professional — at that price point, corners are being cut.

Level 2 — Corporate Website (QAR 6,000–15,000)

A multi-page website with a homepage, about page, services pages, project portfolio, blog, and contact form. Bilingual (Arabic and English), mobile-first, optimised for Google. This is the right level for most established Qatar businesses — restaurants, clinics, law firms, agencies, contractors. It establishes credibility, ranks on Google, and generates inbound leads. The price range reflects design complexity, number of pages, and whether custom animations or integrations are required.

Level 3 — E-commerce Store (QAR 12,000–35,000+)

A full online store with product management, shopping cart, payment gateway integration (PayTabs, Stripe, Apple Pay), inventory tracking, order management, and customer accounts. Price varies enormously based on the number of products, custom features, and whether you need Arabic-first checkout. A basic Shopify setup costs less than a fully custom-built store — but custom-built stores perform better long-term because they are built around your specific business logic rather than forcing you to adapt to a platform's limitations.

Level 4 — Custom Web Application (QAR 25,000+)

Booking platforms, marketplace apps, SaaS products, CRM systems, and portals with user accounts, dashboards, and complex logic. These are not websites — they are web-based software products. Pricing starts at QAR 25,000 and has no upper limit depending on complexity. If anyone quotes you under QAR 20,000 for a fully custom booking or marketplace platform, ask very specific questions about what exactly is being built and what shortcuts are being taken.

What Is NOT Included (Ask About These)

  • Domain name registration (~QAR 50–200/year) — always own this yourself, never let the agency hold it.
  • Web hosting (~QAR 500–2,000/year depending on traffic) — included with some agencies, separate with others.
  • Content writing and Arabic translation — often charged separately at QAR 200–500 per page.
  • Professional photography or stock images — factor in QAR 500–3,000 if you need original visuals.
  • Ongoing maintenance and updates — ask if the agency offers a monthly retainer and what it includes.

"The cheapest website is almost never the most affordable one. A QAR 2,000 website that looks unprofessional, loads slowly, or fails to generate a single lead costs your business far more than a QAR 10,000 website that ranks on Google and converts visitors into customers every week."
